As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn professional engineering procedures, codes and company standards.
- Complete design engineering calculations relating to structural engineering of buildings.
- Coordinate with client structural consultants to provide satisfactory design calculations matching their design and drawing standards.
- Work with architects and other consulting team members to provide workable engineering solutions.
- Resolve construction issues with contractors.
- Provide field reviews to verify conformance to the structural documents,
- Prepare letters, email, memos or other correspondence related to daily tasks,
- Be responsible for preparing plans and specifications,
- Manage, coordinate and delegate work to the junior engineering and drafting staff, Provide input and suggestions to improve the performance of S-Struct.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in structural engineering of buildings.
- Candidate should have core experience of 4+ years in design of structural steel buildings.
Other Requirement:
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and standards.
- Good understanding of Indian code is expected. Experience in other international codes such as IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE etc will be added advantage.
