Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD technician/drafter with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to implement Quality Control Systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD software to produce detailed drawings, layouts, and plans according to project requirements.
- Interpret and analyze sketches, technical drawings, and specifications to create accurate and precise drafts.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure drawings meet design standards and project objectives.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes throughout the design process.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all drafting projects to ensure accessibility and traceability.
- Work with the project engineer to enable delivery of major projects.
- Participate in resource management meetings.
- Attends inter discipline coordination meeting as when required.
- Ability to supervise and manage team of Technicians, and train Junior technicians.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software, including experience with 2D drafting and detailing of RCC buildings in REVIT.
- Ability to read and understand other discipline drawings (Arch + MEP + Façade etc.,)
Other Requirements:
- Experience of working on international project (RCC buildings) is advantage.
- Ability to co-ordinate drawings with other members of the design team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Ability to Co-ordinate with other disciplines team members (Arch + MEP + Façade etc.,)
- Strong Knowledge in CAD standards to setup Industry standard CAD drawings.
- Production of CAD drawings from sketches prepared by Engineers and by reference to other consultant’s drawings all in accordance with SSC CAD standards.
- Liaison with other members of the design team over details to ensure a co-ordinated set of drawings is produced.
- Setting up and maintaining job drawing filing system to office standard.
